Instgram is a phone app dedicated to only sharing photos. With this app you can take a photo or choose from your picture library. Once the photo has been selected you can then change the color through different effects and add a caption. Then press share for your followers to see your photo. This is a simple and easy to use app that is a great way to share photo's any time, as its all on your phone. I didn't choose this network for my Social Learning Task as its only accessible on a phone.
Flickr is a service to share photos and videos on the internet. You can create groups with family and friends and keep the photos published between yourselves. I've created a site for all three of the networks I'm researching but to be honest I got really confused trying to navigate myself around Flickr. I wasn't very fond of the layout. I found it difficult finding how to get back and forth from the home page to my personal page. The entire site wasn't visually appealing to me and I couldn't figure out if there was a way to customise and change the layout. Here's a link to 'Wikipedia', an encyclopaedia where anyone can contribute information, clink on the link to see information on Flickr if you are interested in having a look into it. 
My selected social learning website ended up being Tumblr. This is a great and easy site to communicate with others. I had only thought about uploading and sharing photos when I first decided on my social learning topic. But through Tumblr have broadened my knowledge on the different tools that are available to me. On my Tumblr account I can upload text, photo's, audio, videos, maps and links. Now I have more ways to communicate and show others about my adventures. I advise others to check out this great networking site!
